About Me Professionally

Background

I have experience working for both startups and large companies. Most of my time was spent at The Walt Disney Company. During that time, I was promoted 5 times and went from individual contributor to manager.

While manager, I had up to 7 direct reports and oversaw 2-3 major projects at a time across 2 different project teams.

What I am Looking For?

I am accustomed to working with complex business rules and translating them into user experiences for large-scale audiences. I am seeking Design Leadership roles where I can lead Product Design efforts or manage Product Design teams in the Travel or Finance industries.

At Disney, we had a very collaborative, supportive Design team, and I would love to bring and foster those values to new design teams.

About Me Personally

I enjoy exploring worlds both in real-life and virtually with my wife Nicole.

I like eating new foods, trying different craft beers, exploring cities, and hiking trails. I recently took a year off to travel and spent time in Wales, England, Norway, Denmark, Belgium, Spain, Portugal, and Morocco.

I also enjoy playing video games. I mainly play first-party games on my Nintendo Switch 2 or collect achievements with Xbox Game Pass.

I currently split my time between Tacoma-Seattle in Washington and Durham-Chapel Hill in North Carolina.
I also like posing in front of sunsets
